The bold jumping spider has a very distinguishable look, they are instantly recognisable by their cute forward-facing principle pair of eyes that make the spiders look so sweet!

Bold jumping spiders have one of the most elaborate courting rituals around.  This is very much a species-specific courting display, which includes specific movement of the forelegs, palps and chelicerae. The male lifts certain legs and shows off his coloured spots. If the female approaches too rapidly, the male will jump away in a hurry.
